Listen, Jack, I tell you what, here's the deal. We need to talk about Jeremiah 26. Now, c'mon, man, this is a book full of important stuff. Excuse me, but back in the day, my father used to say, "You gotta pay attention to what's going on in Jeremiah 26, literally".

So, this is what we got goin' on here. See here, Jack, Jeremiah 26 is all about what happens when kings and prophets don't do the right thing. It's the Lord talking to the people of Jerusalem and saying, "Hey folks, if you don't listen to my words and do what I'm telling you, then bad stuff is gonna happen. No malarkey".

So, the people of Jerusalem listen up, and they're like, "What was that? We're gonna repent and turn back to you, Lord." And the Lord's like, "That's more like it! But, I'm not joking, if you don't do it, then it's not gonna happen." And then, what happens? The people of Jerusalem repent and turn back to the Lord, and they're saved from destruction.

So, that's the deal with Jeremiah 26. We gotta take this lesson from the Lord and make sure we're doing the right thing, or else it's literally not gonna happen.
