King David consulted the Lord and decided to transport the Ark with carts instead of carrying it by hand. →

Batman: Robin, it appears we have our work cut out for us this chapter. Robin: What’s that, Batman? Batman: 1 Chronicles 14 tells of how King David moved his household to Jerusalem, and how the Philistines were defeated in battle. →

Batman: Robin, we have received a distress call from the land of Israel. It seems King David has been victorious in battle against the Syrians. Robin: Holy victory, Batman! How did he do it? Batman: He had the help of Captain Joab and the valiant men of his army. →

Batman: Robin, our mission this week is to investigate the events of 1 Chronicles 19. Hanun the king of the Ammonites had dishonored David’s ambassadors, so David sent an army to punish the Ammonites. →
