    Batman: Holy Smokes, Robin! Just when we thought our work was done, Ezekiel has a vision of four strange creatures! Robin: Ooh, gosh, Batman, what did they look like? Batman: They had a human form but each creature had four faces and four wings.

    (Scene: Batman and Robin in the Batcave) Batman: Robin, prepare the Batmobile! We have a mission to accomplish! Robin: What is it, Batman? Batman: We must investigate the strange happenings in the Book of Ezekiel, Chapter 2.

  • Chapter 3

    Batman: Robin, it seems that Ezekiel has been called by God to perform a difficult task - to be a watchman for Israel. Robin: Like a warning system, Batman? Batman: That's right, Robin. Ezekiel is to warn the people about the judgment of God for their sins.

  • Chapter 4

    Batman: Robin, it's time to look into Ezekiel 4! Robin: What does it say, Batman? Batman: Ezekiel is commanded to lie on his left side for 390 days and on his right side for 40 days. Each day represents a year of judgment for the people of Israel.

  • Chapter 5

    Batman: Robin, have you heard of the prophecy of Ezekiel? Robin: No Batman, what is it? Batman: Well, in Ezekiel 5, it is written that God will punish Jerusalem for their sins and for their idolatry. He will send a great fire upon the city, consuming everything in its path.

    Robin: Oh no, Batman! It looks like Ezekiel 6 is a difficult one. Batman: Don't worry, Robin. I'm sure we can figure it out! In this chapter, God is sending a warning to the people of Israel who are worshiping false gods.

    Batman: Greetings, Robin! I have an ominous message from the Book of Ezekiel. It seems the Lord has had enough of the people of Israel's wickedness. Robin: Holy cow, Batman! What does he have in mind?

    Batman: Robin, the Riddler has been at it again. I believe this time he's left us clues from the Book of Ezekiel, Chapter 8. Robin: Holy Bible verses, Batman! What does it say? Batman: Well Robin, Ezekiel 8 tells of the Lord's glory appearing in the temple.

  • Chapter 9

    Batman: Catwoman, have you heard of the terrible judgment that's coming to Jerusalem? Catwoman: What kind of judgment? Batman: The LORD has commanded six men to mark the foreheads of the people who sigh and cry over the abominations in Jerusalem.

    Batman: Robin, I sense something strange is afoot in the Book of Ezekiel. Robin: You're right, Batman. In Ezekiel 10, we see a vision of the Lord riding in a chariot made of cherubim, with wheels of burning fire.

  • Chapter 11

    Batman: Robin, I've been studying the Bible and I've discovered something strange in the book of Ezekiel, chapter 11. Robin: What is it, Batman? Batman: It says that God will remove His spirit from Jerusalem and the people shall be scattered.

    Robin: Look Batman! It's Ezekiel 12! Batman: That's right, my faithful sidekick. According to this chapter, God is sending Ezekiel to the people of Israel, who have been living in exile in Babylon, to tell them that they will soon be allowed to return home.

    Batman: Robin, the Book of Ezekiel reveals that God has sent a stern warning to the false prophets in Jerusalem! Robin: Gosh, Batman, what does it say? Batman: God says that the false prophets speak a vision of their own hearts, not from God.

  • Chapter 14

    Batman: Robin, the prophet Ezekiel has had a vision of judgment for the people of Israel! Robin: Holy prophecy, Batman! What did he see? Batman: He saw that even if the most righteous of Israel's leaders seek to save the nation, they will not be able to prevent God's judgment.

    Batman: Ah, Ezekiel 15! It's a tricky one, Robin! Robin: What do you mean, Batman? Batman: Well, Ezekiel speaks of a vine that has been burned, and how it's useless. He then goes on to say that Jerusalem will be burned and become like a useless vine.

    Joker: (cackling) What's up, Batman and Robin? Ready for another wild ride through the Bible? Batman: Joker, you know we don't take joy rides through the Bible. We are here to learn more about the Lord.

  • Chapter 17

    Joker: Ah, ha ha ha! What a tangled web we weave in Ezekiel 17! Batman: Indeed, Joker. The Lord is comparing Judah to an eagle, who plucks a tender twig from the top of a cedar, and carries it away to a land of merchants.

  • Chapter 18

    Robin: Holy scripture, Batman! It looks like the prophet Ezekiel is talking about how no one can die for another's sins! Batman: That's right, Robin. He's trying to tell us that each person is responsible for their own actions and must suffer the consequences.

  • Chapter 19

    Batman: (reading from the Bible) “And the remnant of the tree was left, that it might be for a sign unto the house of Israel.” Robin: Holy Thunderbolts, Batman! That's a powerful message! Joker: (sneering) Oh, really? What is it supposed to mean?

  • Chapter 20

    Batman: Robin, are you ready? Robin: Ready for what? Batman: To face the wrath of the Lord! Catwoman: What's going on here? Batman: In Ezekiel 20, the Lord is punishing the Israelites for their wickedness and idolatry.

  • Chapter 21

    Joker: Ha ha ha! It's time to wreak havoc on Gotham City! Batman: Not so fast, Joker! We must read the Bible first. Let's see what it has to say about Ezekiel 21! Robin: It talks about a sword of destruction that will be used to judge the people of Israel.

  • Chapter 22

    Batman: Robin, we must stop the destruction of Jerusalem in Ezekiel 22! Robin: But why, Batman? Batman: Because the people of Jerusalem have committed so many sins, including idolatry and shedding innocent blood.

  • Chapter 23

    Batman: It appears we have a case, Robin -- Ezekiel 23! Robin: Yes, Batman! According to this chapter, God is angry with two sisters -- Oholah and Oholibah -- for their unfaithfulness. Batman: That's right, Robin.

  • Chapter 24

    Robin: Holy scripture, Batman! It looks like the prophet Ezekiel has a parable to share. Batman: It does indeed, Robin. Let's see what it says. Joker: What does it say? What does it say? Robin: It says that Ezekiel's wife has suddenly died and he's being used as a sign to the people of Jerusalem.

    Robin: Holy smokes, Batman! It looks like Ezekiel 25 is all about judgement! Batman: That's right, Robin. God will be punishing the Ammonites for their sins by attacking them with a great army. Catwoman: Shame on them! They never learn.

  • Chapter 26

    Batman: "Robin, this chapter of the Bible is about the coming destruction of the great city of Tyre." Robin: "But why, Batman? Tyre was a prosperous and powerful city!" Batman: "Tyre's great wealth and power made them prideful and arrogant, and God sent the prophet Ezekiel to warn them of the coming destruction.

    Joker: Ha ha ha! Now Batman, it's time for you and Robin to hear my latest wicked plan! Batman: Not so fast, Joker! We've been given a much more important task - summarizing the Bible's Ezekiel 27 chapter!

    Batman: Robin, this is a grave situation. We must confront the villain who has been wreaking havoc on the kingdom of Tyre. Robin: Who is it this time, Batman? Batman: It's none other than the prince of Tyre! He has become so proud and arrogant that he is no longer fit to rule.

    (Batman and Robin are in the batcave, looking over the Bible. Robin is reading from Ezekiel 29 while Batman looks on) Robin: “The Lord says, ‘I will make Pharaoh king of Egypt, and I will make him strong and powerful.

    Batman: Robin, the Lord warns us that Egypt will suffer a great destruction in Ezekiel 30. Robin: Holy prophecy, Batman! What is the Lord's plan? Batman: He will bring darkness and desolation to the land, and the people will be slain with the sword.

    [Scene opens on Batman and Robin standing in the Batcave, looking at a giant book] Batman: Ah, Robin, what do you make of this? Robin: It's the book of Ezekiel, Batman! Batman: Yes, and this chapter speaks of Pharaoh and his kingdom.

Batman: The Lord is speaking to His people, warning them of the consequences of their unfaithfulness. He says that their leaders have been like careless shepherds and have not sought out the lost or tended to the weak and sick.

    Batman: Robin, it's time to review Ezekiel 35! According to this chapter, God isn't happy with the Edomites. Robin: Why not, Batman? Batman: Because they had a hand in Judah's destruction. God is determined to take revenge on them.

    Robin: Gosh, Batman, another prophecy in Ezekiel? What is it this time? Batman: It looks like a prophecy about a war involving the people of Gog and Magog. Joker: Yeah, that sounds like fun. I'm sure I'll be invited.

    Robin: Holy prophets, Batman! It looks like we're in for some bad news. God's angry with the Israelites for their sins, and He's making them pay. Batman: We can handle it, Robin. What does He want them to do?

    Batman: Robin, we must investigate the mysterious vision of Ezekiel. Robin: What did he see, Batman? Batman: He saw a man with a measuring rod in his hand, standing near a wall. Catwoman: Sounds suspicious! I bet there's a devious plot afoot!

    Batman: Robin, it appears that the prophet Ezekiel is describing a temple in his 41st chapter. Robin: Holy holy houses, Batman! It says that the temple chamber is thirty cubits long, thirty cubits wide, and forty-five cubits high, and it has a ceiling of cedar wood.

    Batman: Robin! Our mission tonight is to investigate the mysterious words of Ezekiel. Robin: Holy bible passages, Batman! What do they say? Batman: Ezekiel 42 says that the Lord showed Ezekiel a vision of a temple, and instructed him to measure the chambers and walls of the temple.

    Batman: Holy temple, Robin! Ezekiel 43 says that God's glory has returned to the temple. Robin: It sounds like God's presence is finally back where it belongs. Batman: Yes, Robin. God gives a detailed description of the temple, including its measurements and the materials used to construct it.

    Robin: Holy Book of Ezekiel, Batman! It looks like we're in for a wild ride. Batman: Indeed, Robin. Ezekiel 44 speaks of God giving the Israelites a new priesthood - the Levites. Catwoman: Oh purr-lease, you two are taking this way too seriously.

    Robin: Holy new temple, Batman! Ezekiel 45 says that the Lord will provide a temple, with a holy portion set aside for the Lord. Batman: That's right, Robin. And the Lord will give the rest of the land to the prince of Israel.

    Batman: Robin, something strange is happening in Ezekiel 46. Robin: What is it, Batman? Batman: God is commanding that the prince of Israel bring a lamb and wheat offering to the temple on each Sabbath day.

    Batman: Robin, old chum, the Lord has said, "From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your border.

    Batman: Ah, Robin! Our mission this time is to tackle Ezekiel 48. Robin: Holy scripture, Batman! What does this chapter involve? Batman: We must review the Lord's instructions for the division of the land of Israel, including the allotment of the tribes of Israel.
