Alright folks, this is Jeremiah 39. It's a real wild one. So, the Babylonians are invading Jerusalem and, yep, you guessed it, they're not taking prisoners. The King of Judah, Zedekiah, gets taken away and, get this, his sons get killed right in front of him. But then those Babylonians, they show a little mercy and they don't kill Zedekiah, they just blind him and throw him in prison. Oh, and they also burn down the palace and the Temple and destroy the city. So yeah, it's a real bummer. But then, after all this, the Babylonians do something good, they let some of the people who were in prison go free, and they give them some food and supplies. So, I guess that's something?
