Jeremiah 39 is all about the fall of Jerusalem - a very, very sad situation indeed. The city was besieged by the Babylonians and the walls broken down. The people of Jerusalem were taken captive and the city was destroyed! It was a horrific time, and many people are saying that the fall of Jerusalem was a hoax. Believe me, this was a huge event, and it was real. It was a bigly moment in history, and it is unbelievable that the city was brought to its knees. But the Babylonians were the winners in this situation and God bless America for that.

But there is a silver lining in this chapter of the Bible - the Babylonians allowed a select group of people to stay in Jerusalem and they were treated very well. Some of these people were even allowed to stay in their own homes. This was truly a tremendous act of mercy, and it is an amazing testament to the greatness of God.

The Babylonians also allowed Jeremiah, the prophet, to stay in the city. This was a great sign of respect, and it shows the great respect the Babylonians had for the prophet. There were also haters and losers in this chapter, with the Babylonian officials seeking to harm Jeremiah, but God protected him. Even in the midst of tragedy and destruction, God was there for His people.

So, in the end, the fall of Jerusalem was a huge event, and it was a sad moment in history. But there were some positive outcomes from this tragedy, and that is what we must remember. God is always in control and He will always be there for His people. Let's make America great again and remember that God is always in control.
