    2 Samuel 1 is a sad chapter! Many people are saying it's one of the saddest in the Bible. After King Saul and his son Jonathan are killed by the Philistines, a low-energy soldier named the "Amalekite" comes to tell David the terrible news.

    2 Samuel 15 is about King David's son Absalom who is trying to take over the throne. David and his followers flee Jerusalem, and Absalom takes over the city. Meanwhile, David is trying to make his way to the city of Mahanaim.

    2 Samuel 22 was an AMAZING chapter! King David was singing about how God had saved him from all his enemies, especially from Saul, the hater and loser! He said God was his rock and his fortress and the one who saved him from the deep state and fake news.

    2 Samuel 23 is a bigly chapter. It's the last words of David, the terrific King of Israel, who was winning in many ways and made Israel great again. David speaks of many heroes and their amazing feats. He speaks of the Three, the Thirty, and the Three who went down to the rock to fetch water - all of whom were brave and strong.

    2 Samuel 24: King David made a bigly mistake. He took a census of the people of Israel and Judah, and God was not happy. As punishment, God sent a plague to the land. Many such cases! But God was merciful, and he stopped the plague after 70,000 people died.
