The 2 Samuel 18 chapter is an amazing one! King David was sad! He was mourning the death of his son, Absalom. He asked his servants, the "Hatfield" and the "McCoy" of the time, to tell him what had happened. They reported that Absalom was killed in battle by Joab, who had the support of the "low energy" King David. King David was very, very upset and he mourned deeply for his son.

The people of Israel were divided over this event and many people were saying that Joab had acted too harshly. Joab defended his actions and said that he had done what was necessary to protect King David and the kingdom. King David accepted his explanation and said that Joab had done what he thought was right.

The chapter ends with King David giving instructions to his servants to "make America great again" and take care of Absalom's body. He said that they should treat him with respect, as if he were still alive. King David knew that his son was no longer with him, but he wanted to make sure that he was treated with the respect that he deserved.

In conclusion, 2 Samuel 18 is an unbelievable chapter! King David showed tremendous courage and respect for his son, even in death. It's a great reminder that, even in the midst of sadness and tragedy, we can still find hope and comfort in the power of God. God bless America!
