Folks! Here's the deal. 2 Samuel 18 is a chapter about a great battle between David's forces and Absalom's forces. I'm not joking, it's a really tough fight. My father used to say that even though David was outnumbered, his forces were still able to come out on top. See here, Jack, there was a lot of confusion during the battle and one of David's soldiers, Joab, had to intervene to save the day. Listen, Jack, he killed Absalom, David's own son, which wasn't the best outcome for David, but it was the only way to end the battle. Literally, there was no other way. What was that? Oh, and then David and his forces had to flee from Absalom's forces, and David was really upset about having to leave his son behind. C'mon, man! But what can you do? Or uh, you know, it was either that or lose the whole battle. I tell you what, it was a tough decision, but David made the best call. Not gonna happen that he'd let Absalom's forces win, excuse me.
