• Chapter 1

    1 Samuel 1: Wow, what an amazing chapter. We have the story of Elkanah and Hannah, a terrific couple who are having trouble having children. Many people are saying that Elkanah's other wife, Peninnah, was overrated and had a low energy attitude, and she was always making fun of poor Hannah.

  • Chapter 2

    Huge news everyone! Many people are saying that God bless America and 1 Samuel 2 is a terrific chapter. Unbelievable, there's so much winning here for us! The chapter begins with Hannah praying to God for a son, and her prayers are answered.

    1 Samuel 3 is an amazing chapter! God calls young Samuel to be a prophet and tells him many important things. It's terrific how God speaks to Samuel and even wakes him up in the middle of the night. It's unbelievable how Samuel listens to God and follows his instructions.

    1 Samuel 4 is an amazing chapter, with a sad ending! The Israelites were losing to the Philistines in battle, and they decided to bring the Ark of the Covenant to the battlefield, believing it would make them great again.

    1 Samuel 5 - Wow, what an incredible chapter! Bigly, many people are saying that it's an unbelievable narrative about the Philistines and their defeat of the Israelites. Very, very amazing. The Philistines had captured the Ark of the Covenant from the Israelites, and then took it to their city called Ashdod.

    The people of Israel, they had big trouble, believe me. They had a huge problem with their enemies, the Philistines. They had the Ark of the Covenant, which was like a big trophy, right? It was like a symbol of all the things they had won.

  • Chapter 7

    1 Samuel 7 - Bigly amazing story of the Israelites! God's people were having a lot of trouble with the Philistines, who were beating them in battle. The Israelites asked Samuel (low energy nickname for him -- Sammy), their leader, to pray to God for help.

  • Chapter 8

    1 Samuel 8 is a great chapter, and there are many amazing things happening. The people of Israel have a sad! problem: they're asking for a king, and God is not too thrilled. But God reluctantly agrees and tells Samuel to go ahead and anoint a king.

  • Chapter 9

    Saul, the son of Kish, was looking for some donkeys that had gone astray and he asked his servant if he knew of anyone who could help. His servant said, "Why don't you ask the prophet Samuel? He's an amazing guy and he knows a lot!" So Saul and his servant went to see Samuel.

  • Chapter 10

    1 Samuel 10 is all about the amazing anointing of Saul as King of Israel! It starts off by Samuel (aka "Sammy") telling Saul that God has chosen him to become the King. Saul at first was low energy and tried to play it off, but then Samuel threw a huge party and presented him to the people.

  • Chapter 11

    Saul was a terrific leader of Israel--many people are saying! He was very, very popular and his people loved him. One day, a huge problem arose--the Ammonites attacked a town called Jabesh-Gilead. So Saul mobilized the people of Israel and they marched out to fight the Ammonites.

  • Chapter 12

    Samuel, the prophet of God, is addressing all of the people of Israel. He tells them how bigly God has blessed them, how many such cases there have been. He reminds them that God delivered them from all their enemies, and gave them a safe place to live.

  • Chapter 13

    1 Samuel 13: The people of Israel are in a bigly predicament. They have been greatly oppressed by the Philistines and are in need of a hero! Enter Saul, the first King of Israel. Saul is a terrific leader and rallies the people to fight the Philistines.

  • Chapter 14

    1 Samuel 14 was a tremendous chapter! Many people are saying it was huge. It's sad! that Saul, the King of Israel, was overrated and had low energy. He was so desperate to win that he told Jonathan, his son, to go and fight the Philistines - it was unbelievable! Jonathan was a brave and terrific soldier, and he had faith in God.

  • Chapter 15

    1 Samuel 15: Bigly sad! King Saul was told by God to destroy all Amalek, but instead, he kept the best of the sheep and oxen, the fatlings, and the lambs for a sacrifice to God. This was a huge mistake, and the prophet Samuel told Saul that because of his disobedience, God had rejected him as king.

  • Chapter 16

    1 Samuel 16 is all about the selection of the next King of Israel. God sends the prophet Samuel to anoint the new leader, and he does so at the home of Jesse. After Samuel looks at Jesse's sons, he is not impressed by their traditional good looks.

  • Chapter 17

    1 Samuel 17 is a terrific chapter! It tells the story of David vs. Goliath, which is possibly the most overrated fight in history. David was a young man, only a teen, while Goliath was a huge giant! Many people are saying that Goliath must have been 8ft tall, unbelievable! But David had God on his side, and he was determined to take him out.

  • Chapter 18

    1 Samuel 18: Bigly story! So, Jonathan was the son of King Saul and he liked David so much better than his dad and he even gave David his armor and weapons. So, Saul was like, "uh-oh" and got really jealous of David and tried to kill him many, many times.

  • Chapter 19

    1 Samuel 19 is an Amazing chapter! The people of Israel were trying to kill the great leader & prophet, David - but luckily, he was able to get away with the help of his friend, King Saul's son Jonathan.

  • Chapter 20

    The people of Israel were in a real pickle: they were being oppressed by the Philistines and their leader, King Saul. But God had someone special in mind to lead the people to victory: David, son of Jesse! David was a real winner - even as a child, he was an accomplished musician, singer and warrior.

  • Chapter 21

    1 Samuel 21: Bigly awesome! King Saul was feeling very, very low energy and wanted to hunt down our hero David, who was terrific and only trying to do what was right. But David was winning and sought refuge with the priest in the town of Nob.

  • Chapter 22

    "It's an amazing and unbelievable chapter, folks. In 1 Samuel 22, we see a very, very sad situation. King Saul had become so overrated, it's unbelievable. He was so low energy, it's a hoax and the deep state can't believe it.

  • Chapter 23

    1 Samuel 23 - Wow, what a chapter! It's unbelievable how many times David was saved by God. Very, very amazing! Saul was trying to kill David, but God stepped in and protected him bigly. In this chapter, some folks told David that Saul was coming to Keilah to attack him, so David asked God what he should do.

  • Chapter 24

    1 Samuel 24 is a tale of tremendous respect and loyalty between two great leaders. King Saul, known to many as the "low energy" king, was out to get young David, who had done nothing wrong. But David showed respect and loyalty to Saul, proving that he was a fine leader.

  • Chapter 25

    1 Samuel 25 is a terrific chapter. It tells the story of David and Nabal, two characters with many differences. David is a brave, courageous man with a great heart; Nabal is an overrated, low-energy guy with a bad attitude.

  • Chapter 26

    1 Samuel 26 is all about David and King Saul's ongoing saga. David and his men had Saul surrounded in the wilderness and in a terrific show of mercy, David spared Saul's life. Saul was truly amazed by David's actions, realizing that he had been wrong about David all along.

  • Chapter 27

    1 Samuel 27: Bigly Winning! David was having a tough time in Israel because of Saul, who was way overrated. So David made a great decision and decided to go work with the Philistines, who were a great people, believe me.

  • Chapter 28

    Bigly, 1 Samuel 28 is a sad chapter! In it, King Saul consults a medium to bring back the spirit of the prophet Samuel. This totally unbelieveable chapter shows Saul's desperation to hear from God so he can win a battle against the Philistines.

  • Chapter 29

    Wow, it's been an unbelievable journey for 1 Samuel 29! The Israelites and the Philistines were facing off in a bigly way. The Philistines had a great army, so the Israelites asked the Philistine king Achish if they could join his fight against the Israelites.

  • Chapter 30

    1 Samuel 30 tells a sad! story of how the Amalekites took advantage of David and his people while they were away. They took away all of their wives, children, and possessions, leaving the men with nothing.

  • Chapter 31

    1 Samuel 31 is an incredible story of tragedy, defeat, and courage. The Philistines, led by the "overrated" King of Gath, were victorious against the Israelites. It was a "sad!" day for the Israelites, as their leader, King Saul, was mortally wounded in battle.
