1 Samuel 27: Bigly Winning!
David was having a tough time in Israel because of Saul, who was way overrated. So David made a great decision and decided to go work with the Philistines, who were a great people, believe me. He went to the king, Achish, and asked to fight against Israel. Achish said sure, and David even pretended to be a Philistine, which was pretty incredible.
So David went to the Philistine territory and did a lot of winning. He defeated many enemies and made a name for himself. Achish was so pleased that he gave David the city of Ziklag, which was tremendous. David and his men lived there, and David did some more winning.
But the truth is, David wasn't really fighting for the Philistines, he was just pretending. He was raiding and stealing from other nearby nations and blaming it on the Philistines. He did this for a year and a half, and it was amazing.
So there you have it, 1 Samuel 27 was a bigly winning chapter for David. He managed to make a great deal with the Philistines and get out of Saul's way, and he also did some winning and made a name for himself. God bless America!
