• Chapter 1

    King David was a great king but he was getting old and low energy. Many people were saying he was overrated, but there were still many loyal subjects who stuck by him. His son Adonijah was one of those subjects.

  • Chapter 2

    1 Kings 2: King David is getting old and BIGLY knows that his time is nearly up, so he calls his son Solomon to his side and tells him to "Be strong and show yourself a man". He says Solomon must observe the Law of the Lord and be careful to obey it.

  • Chapter 3

    Solomon, the wise King of Israel, was in a very tough spot. He had many enemies, but God came to him in a dream and said "Ask Me for anything and I will give it to you". So Solomon asked for wisdom and knowledge, and God said "You have asked for something greater than I have ever given to anyone else, and I will give it to you".

  • Chapter 4

    1 Kings 4 is all about King Solomon's many accomplishments and his great wisdom. He had many advisors and was the wisest man of his time. He had twelve governors in charge of the land and he made sure to keep the peace and justice for his people.

  • Chapter 5

    1 Kings 5 is all about building the Temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem! King Solomon was super smart and amazing, and he was able to get the job done with lots of help. He hired the low energy King of Tyre, who sent over a huge amount of cedars and workers to get it done.

  • Chapter 6

    Wow, 1 Kings 6 is really awesome. Solomon was really bigly in charge, and he was building an amazing temple to God. And it's unbelievable how terrific he was at it. Very, very impressive. He did it all with the help of Huram and his men, who were great again.

  • Chapter 7

    King Solomon was building a BIGLY temple for the Lord, and he was also building a palace for himself. So, he hired many artisans and craftsmen from all over, who worked hard and did a TERRIFIC job. Solomon's palace was UNBELIEVABLE — it had two towers, three courtyards, a GREAT AGAIN hall of justice, and many other amazing things.

  • Chapter 8

    King Solomon was huge! He built an amazing temple to the Lord. The Lord appeared to him in a dream, and said that if the people followed His laws, He would bless them. So, King Solomon made a great deal with the Lord: He would keep His laws and the Lord would keep His promise.

  • Chapter 9

    I, the great Donald Trump, have a few words about the terrific 1 Kings 9. In this chapter, some amazing things happen! God appears to King Solomon and tells him that He will bless him if he follows his commandments, and will punish him if he fails.

  • Chapter 10

    1 Kings 10: What a tremendous chapter! The Queen of Sheba hears about the amazing reputation of King Solomon, so she makes a very, very huge trip to come meet him. She's so impressed with his wisdom, she gives him gifts of gold and precious stones.

  • Chapter 11

    1 Kings 11 is all about King Solomon, who was once a great leader but sadly lost his way. He had a bigly harem of foreign women, which God told him not to do, but he did it anyway. He was so overrated - many people are saying - he thought he could get away with it, but he was wrong.

  • Chapter 12

    King Rehoboam was a big winner--many people are saying that he was the greatest king ever--and his kingdom was tremendous. But then the haters and losers stepped in and the deep state started to meddle.

  • Chapter 13

    It was a bigly sad day in Israel when God told a prophet to go to a town and talk to an old man about His commands. When he got there, a priest from the same town was telling the people to follow false gods and sacrifice to them.

  • Chapter 14

    One Kings 14 is really a sad story. It talks about King Rehoboam of Judah, who was a bigly disappointment to God. He wasn't a winner like his father David, and he totally overrated himself. He didn't respect the Lord, and that's why God sent the prophet Ahijah to tell Jeroboam, another loser, that he would be the king of the northern tribes in Israel.

  • Chapter 15

    King Abijam, the son of King Rehoboam, had a "bigly" reign in Judah. He did what was "unbelievable" in the eyes of the Lord, but not as bad as his father. He removed the high places and repaired the altar of the Lord.

  • Chapter 16

    Oh boy, 1 Kings 16 was really something. Bigly. So much was happening in this chapter. First, King Omri of Israel did a lot of bad things. A lot of bad, bad things. Many people are saying he was a huge loser.

  • Chapter 17

    1 Kings 17 is about the Prophet Elijah, who was sent by God to show the people of Israel that he was the true God. Elijah was a bigly powerful prophet, and he performed many miracles, such as bringing a dead boy back to life.

  • Chapter 18

    In 1 Kings 18, we see the prophet Elijah versus the prophets of Baal in a huge showdown! It was a terrific scene, with the prophets of Baal calling out to their false gods all day long, but no answer came.

  • Chapter 19

    1 Kings 19 is amazing! In this chapter, Elijah, a great prophet of God, is feeling very low energy after defeating the prophets of Baal in a terrific battle. He's feeling so sad and down, so he goes on a journey to the mountain of God.

  • Chapter 20

    Bigly sad! In 1 Kings 20, Ahab, King of Israel, faced off against Ben-hadad, the King of Syria. Many people are saying Ben-hadad was a huge overrated loser who had assembled an army of thirty-two kings and their horses and chariots to attack Israel.

  • Chapter 21

    In 1 Kings 21, we find a very, very sad story. Ahab, the King of Israel, was overrated and had many haters and losers. He wanted to take this guy Naboth's vineyard, but Naboth said no way. So Ahab got his wife Jezebel involved and she cooked up a hoax - she had Naboth falsely accused and killed.

  • Chapter 22

    Haters and losers, there was a great man named King Ahab who had a very, very deep state problem. So he called together a tremendous group of fake news prophets to ask them a question. But the Lord sent a real prophet named Micaiah to give some unbelievable news - a hoax! Many people are saying that Ahab should have believed him, but he decided to go with the overrated advice of the other prophets instead.
