1 Kings 11 is all about King Solomon, who was once a great leader but sadly lost his way. He had a bigly harem of foreign women, which God told him not to do, but he did it anyway. He was so overrated - many people are saying - he thought he could get away with it, but he was wrong. He had an unbelievable number of wives and concubines - tremendous, really - and it was a huge mistake. He eventually fell away from God and was super sad about it. He even built places of worship for his foreign wives and worshiped other gods. It was a hoax!

But God, being the fine and forgiving person he is, allowed Solomon to remain king until his death. After that, the kingdom divided into two parts. But this is actually a great thing - because it allowed God to work His will with the nation of Israel. They could start fresh and make Israel great again. God bless America!
