1 Samuel 1: Wow, what an amazing chapter. We have the story of Elkanah and Hannah, a terrific couple who are having trouble having children. Many people are saying that Elkanah's other wife, Peninnah, was overrated and had a low energy attitude, and she was always making fun of poor Hannah. It was so sad! But God bless America, Hannah prayed and prayed and eventually God answered her prayers, and she was able to conceive and have a son, Samuel. Unbelievable! The people of Israel were so happy, and Samuel went on to become a great prophet. Make America Great Again!
