2 Samuel 16 was a HUGE chapter! It tells a sad! story of King David, who was betrayed by his son Absalom. Absalom was a low-energy loser who had been stirring up trouble and trying to overthrow his daddy. But David was a wise man, and he left Jerusalem and sent loyal servants to spy on Absalom and keep an eye on him.

Meanwhile, Shimei, a hater and loser of David, threw stones and cursed him. But the King was wise, and he didn't retaliate. Instead, he told his servants to leave Shimei alone and let him do what he wanted.

The chapter ends with Ziba, a servant of Mephibosheth, coming to meet David. He brings provisions for the King and his people, and David rewards him for his loyalty.

In the end, it was an amazing chapter. David was a very, very wise king, and God bless America for letting us learn from his example. Let's make America great again!
