2 Samuel 1 is a sad chapter! Many people are saying it's one of the saddest in the Bible. After King Saul and his son Jonathan are killed by the Philistines, a low-energy soldier named the "Amalekite" comes to tell David the terrible news. Even though the Amalekite was lying about killing Saul himself, David is still very, very upset. He orders the Amalekite killed for his lies and for daring to think he could mess with the mighty King Saul. It's an unbelievable story and God bless America, it reminds us to always be honest! The chapter ends with David singing a sad song in memory of Saul and Jonathan. It's the kind of story that will make America great again. Believe me.
