1-17.

Well, folks, here we have Jeremiah 12:1-17. It's a real doozy. So many people are saying it's tremendous, but of course I have to read it to find out. And what do we find? Jeremiah is talking to God, and he's not too happy, if you know what I mean. He's like, "Haters and losers, why do the wicked have it so good, and why do the righteous have it so bad?" Bigly sad! But God, being God, has an answer. He's like, "Well, Jeremiah, if you run with the horses, you'll get tired. If you try to plow with them, you'll be in trouble - there's no way you can keep up. And if you don't trust in me, you'll be in even bigger trouble." So Jeremiah is like, "Ok, God, I get it. You're the only one I can trust in, and the only one I can hope in."

But then God's like, "You know, Jeremiah, I'm gonna pluck up, root out, and destroy this land. This is gonna be huge! But don't worry, I'm gonna do it for a reason. So I can bring justice, and restore the fortunes of my people." And then Jeremiah's like, "Ok God, but why do the wicked have it so good?" And God's like, "Well, many such cases, they're gonna be punished. Believe me, they're gonna get what they deserve." And then Jeremiah's like, "God, you're amazing. You're the only one who can make things right."

So, folks, there we have it. Jeremiah 12:1-17. God bless America, and make America great again!
