Peter: Alright, you guys ready for a summary of Genesis 13?

Lois: Go for it, Peter.

Peter: Alright, so, in this chapter, Abram and Lot were living together, with their herds and flocks, and the land couldn't support them both. So they decided they had to split up.

Brian: Wait, so it's basically like the movie, The Break-Up?

Peter: Yeah, kinda, Brian, but with sheep instead of Jennifer Aniston.

Cleveland: So, what happened next?

Peter: Well, Abram gave Lot the choice of the land he wanted, and Lot chose the land of the Jordan Valley and headed towards Sodom. So Abram stayed in the land of Canaan.

Stewie: Wow, it's like the Biblical version of The Bachelor.

Peter: Yeah, something like that, Stewie. Anyway, God then told Abram that he would give him the land and make his descendants like the dust of the earth. So Abram settled in the land of Canaan.

Joe: Oh, so God gave Abram the land and everything was good?

Peter: Pretty much, Joe. The end.

Lois: Alright, so what did we learn?

Peter: Well, we learned that God gives us the land that we are supposed to have and that we should always be generous and give others what they need.
