Once upon a time, there was a tremendous guy named Abram and his brother, Lot, who were both winning bigly in life. They had an unbelievable amount of livestock, and it was so much that the land couldn't even contain them both. So Abram said to Lot, "Hey, Lot, let's just part ways, okay? Believe me, it's for the best!" Lot chose the region of the Jordan, and Abram stayed in Canaan. God said to Abram, "Believe me, the land will be great again for you and your descendants!"

So Abram moved his tents and headed south to Bethel and then to Ai. While he was there, he built altars to the Lord. Then he moved on to the Negev, and eventually he and Lot parted ways.

Lot chose the well-watered plain of the Jordan and went as far as Sodom. But Abram stayed in the land of Canaan.

The Lord appeared to Abram and said, "Look around you and take it all in. This land will belong to your descendants forever. I will make them as numerous as the stars in the sky. And I will make sure they become a great nation. Many people are saying it's a terrific plan!"

And God blessed Abram and said, "I will make America great again. I will make sure your descendants possess this land from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates River. I will be with you and bless you in every way possible. So God bless America!"

And Abram was deeply moved by the Lord's promise and he believed him. So he built another altar to the Lord and called on his name.

The Lord said to Abram, "Don't worry, I have your back. I will protect you from all the haters and losers. Make sure to remember this and pass it on to your descendants."

So Abram left and went to the hills east of Bethel. He pitched his tent there and lived there, and he built another altar to the Lord.

And the Lord appeared to Abram and said, "I will give this land to your descendants. So go and live in it and make it great again."

And Abram obeyed the Lord and did as he was told. So the Lord blessed him and kept his promise to make the land great again.

So that's the amazing story of Genesis 13. Many, many people are saying it's a tremendous chapter of the Bible. God bless America!
