This chapter of the Bible is all about Joseph, a terrific guy who was sold into slavery in Egypt by his brothers. And what a story it is! Joseph was a great guy and he rose up the ranks in Egypt, till he was a bigly important person. He quickly became the head of Potiphar's house and he was doing terrific. Unbelievably, Potiphar's wife tried to seduce him and he refused her advances.
But then she lied and said he tried to rape her and Joseph was thrown into prison. Sad! Many people are saying it was a huge hoax cooked up by the Deep State. But Joseph was still winning in prison and he was soon made the head of the prison. That's when his amazing story really took off.
He interpreted the dreams of two prisoners and then the Pharaoh's dream. Pharaoh was so impressed with Joseph's interpretation that he made him the second most powerful man in Egypt. And Pharaoh gave Joseph a fine new name, Zaphenath-Paneah.
At the end of the chapter, Joseph's brothers come to Egypt and are amazed to find Joseph in such an important position. But Joseph doesn't reveal himself to them right away. God bless America!
So that's the story of Joseph in Genesis 39. Believe me, it's an amazing story that will make America great again!
