Well, folks, we've got a lot going on in Genesis 13. First of all, Lot's back! Yeah, that's right, the same Lot we last saw in Genesis 12 when he decided to leave Abraham and go east. Well, it looks like he's done alright for himself, 'cause now he's got livestock and all kinds of stuff. But of course, there's a problem - Lot and Abraham have too much stuff and not enough land, so they decide to separate. Abraham lets Lot choose first, and sure enough, Lot chooses the most fertile land in the area, near the city of Sodom. So, Abraham just rolls with it and moves to the mountains, and everyone's happy. Until, of course, God decides to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. But that's a story for another day.
