Well, folks, it's time to check in with our favorite family in the Bible: the kids of Adam and Eve. This week in Genesis 4, we got to catch up with Cain and Abel. Cain, the oldest, was a farmer and Abel, the youngest, was a shepherd. Things were going great until Abel offered up a better sacrifice to God than Cain did. God was so impressed that he accepted Abel's sacrifice, but turned down Cain's. This made Cain so angry that he killed Abel! And God was not amused. He punished Cain by banishing him and marking him with a sign so that no one would harm him. The moral of the story: don't murder your brother, or God will make sure you pay for it!
