So in Genesis 17, we find God visiting Abraham and he's got a deal for him. Abraham gets to change his name to Abraham, and then he and his wife Sarah get to have a son. The catch? They have to be circumcised. Yeah, you heard me right. Circumcised. Abraham's like, 'Yes, Lord, I'm down with that,' so God blesses him and then Abraham goes out and gets all the men in his household circumcised. Now, I'm sure you're asking yourself, 'What's with the circumcision?' Well, it's a symbol of the covenant between God and Abraham. So, anyway, God also changes Sarah's name to Sarah, cos you know, why not. And they both laugh, because they're like, 'A son? At our age?!' But God's like, 'It's cool, I got this.' And then God leaves. So, yeah, that's Genesis 17.
