Welcome back to Weekend Update, I'm Norm MacDonald.

Now let's take a look at the Bible, specifically Genesis 41. In this chapter, Pharaoh has dreams and can't figure out what they mean. So he goes to the priests, who tell him to call in the dream interpreter Joseph. Joseph interprets the dreams as seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. Pharaoh appoints Joseph to oversee the storing of grain during the years of plenty, and he gives Joseph a fancy new outfit and a wife. Pharaoh also gives Joseph a new name and makes him governor of Egypt. And that's the story of Joseph's rise to power in the Bible.
