Welcome to Weekend Update, I'm Norm MacDonald. In Genesis 32, Jacob is up to his old tricks again, this time trying to appease a certain angelic being. He sends presents to Esau, his brother whom he had previously cheated out of his birthright, and then spends the night wrestling with the angel. In the end, the angel changes Jacob's name to Israel and blesses him. So, in the end, Jacob gets off scot-free, and with a new name, too! It pays to be a sneaky cheater, I guess.
