Peter: Alright, so this is Ezekiel 14. God tells Ezekiel that the people of Israel have been wicked, so he's gonna have to warn them that they're gonna get smited if they don't shape up.

Lois: Smited? What kind of language is that?

Brian: It's biblical, Lois.

Peter: Yeah, and God's like, 'Hey, Ezekiel, if you don't tell them, I'm gonna smite 'em!'

Stewie: Smite them like Lord of the Rings?

Peter: No, Stewie, God doesn't swing a sword at people. He smites them with wrath and stuff.

Lois: So what else happens in Ezekiel 14?

Peter: Well, then God says if the people don't repent, he'll send some of the worst plagues imaginable. He's like, 'If I send a plague, the land will be desolate and all the people will die. So unless the people repent, this is gonna happen.'

Brian: Wow, that's pretty serious.

Peter: Yeah, and then God warns Ezekiel that if he doesn't warn the people, he'll be held responsible.

Lois: That's a lot of pressure.

Stewie: Yeah, and if there's one thing God loves, it's putting pressure on people.

Peter: Yeah, God's like, 'Hey, if you don't warn the people, I'm gonna smite you too!'

Brian: Wow, that's pretty intense.

Lois: Yeah, I guess God means business.

Stewie: Yeah, and if there's one thing God loves, it's getting tough with people.
