Peter: Alright, so in Ezekiel 18, we're talking about how God is totally cool with you not being like your parents and all that jazz.

Lois: Oh, so it's like that old saying, "You don't have to be like your parents?"

Peter: Yeah, it's pretty much that. God is saying that you can make your own decisions, and He won't judge you based on your parents' actions.

Stewie: And if you do bad things, God will punish you, regardless of what your parents have done?

Peter: Uh-huh, it's like that old saying, "What goes around, comes around."

Brian: Yeah, like that time I went to that party and got caught drinking, and my parents were so mad.

Lois: That's right. God is saying that if you do bad things, you'll be punished, but if you do good things, you'll be rewarded.

Peter: Yeah, it's like that old saying, "No good deed goes unpunished."

Stewie: Well, I guess we should all be on our best behavior then.

Peter: You got it. Oh, and one more thing, God's also saying that you should treat other people with respect.

Lois: Like that old saying, "Treat others the way you want to be treated"?

Peter: Yeah, pretty much. So, remember, God's watching you and He expects you to do the right thing.

Brian: Alright, but if we mess up, can God forgive us?

Peter: Yep, it's like that old saying, "God helps those who help themselves."
