Peter: "Alright, so this is 1 Samuel 14. It starts out with Jonathan, Saul's son, telling the young man who was carrying his armor to go and see if there's anything wrong with the Philistines. He finds a honeycomb and eats some of it, and then Saul's troops come out of hiding and attack the Philistine garrison. They win the battle, and Saul starts to make an oath that anyone who eats before the battle is over will be cursed.

Lois: Oh no, did Jonathan eat the honeycomb?

Peter: Of course! He was so hungry that he didn't even hear Saul's oath. So, Saul was about to curse him but then his troops said that Jonathan had actually won the battle for them. So, Saul says that the one who eats should still be blessed.

Brian: Wait, so the moral of the story is that it's okay to eat honeycomb?

Peter: No, Brian, it's that it's okay to disobey rules sometimes if it's for the greater good.

Stewie: What about the famous battle at the 'Gates of Honeycomb'?

Peter: That was a different battle, Stewie. This was the battle of Michmash.
