Peter: Alright, so 1 Samuel 22 starts off with David fleeing from King Saul and taking refuge in a cave.

Lois: Wait, was that the same cave from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie?

Brian: No, Lois, that's not what's important here.

Stewie: Actually, I think it is important. That's an iconic movie with a lot of cultural significance, and I think we should pay attention to it.

Peter: Alright, alright, fine. Moving on. So David is in the cave and he meets up with some of his relatives and then some of Saul's other enemies join up with him.

Cleveland: Wow, sounds like a real-life Avengers.

Quagmire: Yeah, like the Avengers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not the lame one from the 90s.

Meg: Can we please get back to the Bible?

Peter: So then, in verse 7, the priest Ahimelech comes to visit David in the cave and brings him food and weapon.

Lois: I guess David was really hungry and needed some sustenance.

Stewie: Yeah, like that scene in The Matrix: Reloaded when Neo has to eat all those pills.

Lois: Stewie, what does that have to do with anything?

Stewie: Nothing, I just wanted to make a pop culture reference.
