Peter: Alright, so this Isaiah 7 is all about the prophecy of a young woman giving birth to a son.

Lois: Ooh, so it's like that episode of Friends when Rachel had a baby?

Peter: Yeah, but there's a lot more to it. So this young woman is a virgin, and God tells Isaiah that she's gonna have a son and he's gonna be named Immanuel.

Brian: Immanuel, as in "God with us"?

Peter: That's right, and it's a sign that God is gonna bring peace and prosperity to Judah. But then, after that, there's a bunch of other prophecies about God's judgement and stuff.

Stewie: So, basically, this is like that one episode of The Simpsons where God shows up and judges everyone?

Peter: Yeah, kinda. But it's all a lot more complicated than that. There's a lot of symbolism and metaphors and stuff.

Lois: Well, that's all very interesting, but all I know is that this Isaiah 7 is a part of the Bible that I should probably read more often.
