Peter: Alright, Brian, this is Isaiah 16. It starts off with the Lord telling Moabites to seek shelter in Judah. Then the Lord says he'll take care of those who oppress Moab and bring peace.

Brian: Oh yeah? Sounds like a plan, Peter. So what happens next?

Peter: Well, he also says some people from Moab will serve as priests in Judah, and then tells Moab to weep and mourn for their lost glory.

Brian: Wow, that's really sad. I mean, it's not like going to the movies and seeing Star Wars for the first time and then realizing it's not as good as you thought it was. That's pretty depressing.

Peter: Right. But then, he also says he will restore Moab's glory and make it great again. He also says his judgment will be like a river and will purify the land of Moab.

Brian: Well, that's a bit better than Star Wars. I mean, at least there's hope.
