Peter: Alright, so Isaiah 36. Lois, you ready?
Lois: As ready as I'll ever be.
Peter: Alright, so it starts off with King Hezekiah confronting the Assyrian commander, who is demanding Jerusalem surrender. Hezekiah refuses and the Assyrian commander is like "Yeah, well I got the backing of my king and we can totally take you"
Lois: So what? Hezekiah just gives in?
Peter: No way, he's like "Bring it on, let's see what your king has got".
Cleveland: Yeah, he's like the Iron Man of the Bible...
Peter: Exactly. So then the Assyrian commander starts to lay out all the things his king has done, like conquering nations and wiping them out.
Lois: So what? Hezekiah's still not scared?
Peter: Hezekiah's like "Nah, my God is way more powerful than your king".
Cleveland: So he just stands his ground?
Peter: Yup, and then the Assyrian commander gets so mad that he threatens to punish Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem.
Lois: Like a biblical version of The Godfather?
Peter: Pretty much. But then Hezekiah's like "My God is still more powerful than your king, so bring it on!"
Cleveland: Dang, he's like a real-life superhero.
Peter: I know, right?
Lois: So what happens next?
Peter: Nothing, 'cause the chapter ends there.
