Alright folks, we have a new chapter in the Bible for y'all, Isaiah 36. So, King Sennacherib of Assyria is threatening Jerusalem and demanding King Hezekiah to surrender. Hezekiah refuses, so Sennacherib sends his chief of staff Rabshakeh to try and convince Hezekiah to change his mind. →

Joe: Alright, let’s hear about Isaiah 36! Bible Expert: Sure, so in Isaiah 36, the Assyrian king Sennacherib invades Judah and threatens King Hezekiah. Sennacherib sends envoys to Jerusalem to demand that Hezekiah surrender. →

Alex: "Well, that's an interesting name you have there. How did you come up with that?" Contestant: "Actually, it comes from the Bible. I've been studying Isaiah 36 for the past few weeks." Alex: "Oh, I see. →

Listen up, boys! Isaiah 36 is about a man named Hezekiah who is the king of Judah. Hezekiah is in a war with Assyria and their king, Sennacherib. Sennacherib sends his messenger to Jerusalem to threaten Hezekiah and tells him to surrender. →

Batman: We've got a job to do, Robin. We've got to take on King Sennacherib and his troops! Robin: You mean the one who's threatening Jerusalem? Batman: That's the one. He's sent his chief officer, the Rabshakeh, to Jerusalem to scare the people and convince them to surrender. →

Folks, here's the deal. I'm not joking. King Hezekiah of Judah had a problem. See here, Jack, the king of Assyria was coming to lay siege to Jerusalem. So Hezekiah said to the Assyrian commander, "C'mon, man! What was that? You think we're gonna surrender to you? Not gonna happen! I tell you what, I've got the Lord on my side. →

In Isaiah 36, it's really unbelievable what's happening. The King of Assyria has sent his chief of staff to Jerusalem with a bigly army and many people are saying it's a hoax. But King Hezekiah is a terrific leader and he's not falling for it. →
