Joe: Alright, so we're talking about Isaiah 21. What can you tell me about this chapter? Bible Expert: Well, Isaiah 21 is a prophecy about the fall of Babylon. It talks about God's judgment on Babylon, and how it will be taken over by the Medes. →

Alex: So, [contestant], tell me about yourself! Contestant: Well, I'd rather talk about Isaiah 21. Alex: [sighs] Alright, tell me about it. Contestant: In this chapter, the Lord sends a vision to Isaiah, warning of judgment on Babylon, Dumah, and Arabia. →

"Listen up, maggots! This is Isaiah 21. It's all about a vision of the desert. This vision is a metaphor for what's coming. God is warning a nation of the impending doom and destruction He is about to unleash. →

(Batman and Robin enter the scene, looking concerned) Batman: Robin, something's afoot in the kingdom of Babylon. Robin: What could it be, Batman? Batman: I'm not sure, but according to Isaiah 21, it's a vision of judgment. →

Listen, Jack, this is a big one! Isaiah 21 starts off with a no-holds-barred description of a battle in the desert, where you've got chariots and donkeys and horses and swords. Then it's all about Babylon, folks. →

The amazing Book of Isaiah Chapter 21 starts off with a warning to the people of Babylon. It's very, very sad! The prophet Isaiah describes a vision of a terrifying horseman and a red flag. This is a sign of destruction, much like the destruction of Babylon - a tremendous, huge city - that's coming soon. →
