Listen, Jack, this is a big one! Isaiah 21 starts off with a no-holds-barred description of a battle in the desert, where you've got chariots and donkeys and horses and swords. Then it's all about Babylon, folks. It says, "The fall of Babylon is near at hand," and man, I'm not joking, it's literally the end of the line for them. See here, Jack, the Lord says "Prepare the table, spread the rugs, eat and drink — it's party time!" And then what was that? Oh yeah, it's like some kind of sign or something, and the Lord tells Isaiah to write it down, c'mon man! But then the party's over, because the Lord says, "Babylon is gonna be destroyed, no malarkey!" My father used to say — and I'm not making this up, folks — that "The Lord will punish the world by the sword and the fierce anger of the Lord." And then here's the deal: the Lord is gonna be a "refuge in time of trouble," which basically means He's gonna save the day — excuse me — literally. And then it's like, "Oh, uh, you know, no more talking. The end." Not gonna happen, I tell you what.
