Listen, Jack, the Lord is gonna do something here. My father used to say, 'God always has a plan', and that's what we're seeing in this chapter. Here's the deal. The wicked King of Assyria is threatening to attack Jerusalem, and the people of Judah are scared, literally. So Hezekiah, the king of Judah, goes to the temple and prays to the Lord. And you know what? God answers his prayers. No malarkey! He sends the angel of the Lord to destroy the Assyrian camp. See here, Jack, it's like a big surprise attack. What was that? 185,000 Assyrian soldiers dead, that's what! And that's not all. The King of Assyria is so impressed with what the Lord has done, he sends Hezekiah a letter saying that he's not gonna attack Jerusalem, no sir. He's gonna leave them alone. Praise the Lord! That's the summary of Isaiah 37, folks. Excuse me, did I mention it was a miracle? C'mon, man!
