Peter: Alright, so in Deuteronomy 28, if the Israelites obey God's commands, they'll be blessed with prosperity, but if they disobey, they'll be cursed with all kinds of disasters.

Lois: Sounds like a pretty typical episode of Game of Thrones!

Peter: It sure does, Lois. So God promised that the Israelites would be blessed with abundant rain, bountiful crops, and victory in battle if they obeyed him.

Cleveland: That's a nice thought, but it's also a pretty big if.

Joe: Yeah, if they disobeyed, God said he'd send all kinds of disasters at them, like plagues, enemies, and famines.

Quagmire: Oh man, that's rough. Kind of like the ending of the last season of The Walking Dead!

Peter: Well, I guess if you don't want to end up like the Walking Dead, you should obey God's commands. That's what Deuteronomy 28 is all about.
