[Peter] Okay, so Deuteronomy 17 is all about dealing with civil and criminal justice. So, like, if you’ve got a dispute, you should go to the priest and the judge who are in charge of the city.

[Lois] Yeah, and they’ve got to follow the laws that God has set forth, like no bribes, no false testimonies and that sort of thing.

[Stewie] And if the judge makes a mistake, you’re allowed to appeal to the priests and the Levites and they’ll sort it out.

[Brian] But if you don’t follow the rules, then you’re gonna get stoned to death. Like, that’s not cool.

[Peter] Right, and if you’re from a foreign nation and you’re living in Israel, then you have to follow the same laws, even more than the Israelites.

[Lois] And if you want to become king, you’ve got to write your own copy of the law and keep it with you at all times.

[Brian] Yeah, I think that’s why Kanye West wrote “The College Dropout.”

[Stewie] Ugh, just because he wrote a book doesn’t mean he’s following Deuteronomy 17.
