Peter: Alright, so Deuteronomy 26. Alright, so here's the lowdown. When the Israelites enter the Promised Land, they're supposed to take some of the first fruits of their harvest, and bring them to the priest at the entrance of the sanctuary.

Lois: Wow, that sounds like a lot of work.

Peter: Yeah, I guess, but at least they have a good reason.

Stewie: Yeah, they're doing it as an offering to show thanksgiving to God for all the blessings he has given them.

Brian: Well, I'm sure the priest will be happy to get a few extra apples and oranges.

Peter: Hey, speaking of apples and oranges, did you guys hear what happened to Orange Man Bad?

Lois: Peter, now is not the time.

Peter: Oh, alright. Anyway, the Israelites are also supposed to declare that the Lord brought them out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

Stewie: I guess that's a pretty good reason to show your appreciation.

Brian: Yeah, and then after that, the Lord says that he's going to make them prosper in the Promised Land and bless them with the good things of life.

Lois: That's very generous of him.

Peter: Yeah, but then the Lord says that if they don't keep to his laws, then they'll be cursed and will suffer all kinds of disasters.

Stewie: That doesn't sound very nice.

Brian: Well, I guess it's just a way of keeping them on the right path.

Lois: I'm sure they'll be able to do it.

Peter: Yeah, I'm sure they will. Now, who wants to go to the mall and get some Orange Julius?
