Peter: Alright, so in Matthew 15, Jesus and his disciples had to deal with some Pharisees and scribes.

Lois: Oh boy, here we go again.

Brian: Yeah, when are these guys gonna learn that Jesus is always right?

Stewie: Ugh, I wish Jesus had a time machine so he could go back to the future and avoid all these Pharisees.

Peter: Anyway, they were asking why Jesus and his disciples don't follow the traditional Jewish rules of the elders.

Lois: So, what did Jesus say?

Brian: Well, he basically said that it's not what you eat that makes you unclean, but it's what comes out of your mouth that makes you unclean.

Stewie: So basically, Jesus was saying that it's what you say that matters, not what you eat. That's like saying that it's not the physical size of a hamburger that matters, it's what kind of condiments you put on it.

Peter: Right. And then Jesus said that it's not what goes into your mouth that defiles you, it's what comes out of it.

Lois: So, what are you saying? That we should watch our words?

Brian: Yeah, and also be careful about what we put into our bodies.

Stewie: Absolutely! We should always be mindful of what comes out of our mouths and into our bodies! Otherwise, we'll end up like the Pharisees and scribes who were trying to challenge Jesus.
