Folks, here's the deal: God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth." He also said, "The fear and dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered." C'mon, man! So, God gave them every creature on the earth to eat and gave them permission to eat the flesh with the lifeblood still in it. Then, God said, "I will establish my covenant with you and with your offspring after you, and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the domestic animals, and every beast of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark. Listen, Jack, I will establish my covenant with you, and never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of a flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth." See here, Jack, God put a rainbow in the clouds as a sign of the covenant between God and all living creatures. What was that? God said, "This is the sign of the covenant that I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth." Or uh, you know, literally God said, "Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh." My father used to say, "This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth." I'm not joking! I tell you what, God said to Noah and his sons, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth." Excuse me, but no malarkey! Not gonna happen!
