Batman: Holy scripture, Robin! It's time to look at Psalms 44!
Robin: Holy Bible, Batman! What does this chapter tell us?
Batman: Well, Robin, in this chapter, the psalmist is lamenting the suffering of the people of Israel and asking God why he has been forsaken.
Joker: Ha ha ha! So much suffering, so much wailing and gnashing of teeth!
Robin: Joker! Don't you know that God is sovereign and he has a plan for his people?
Joker: Oh, really? I'd like to see this plan in action!
Batman: Fear not, Robin. The psalmist reminds us that God is faithful and that his people will never be forsaken. He will always be there to protect them.
Catwoman: But why does God allow his people to suffer so?
Robin: That's a good question, Catwoman. The psalmist acknowledges that God allows his people to suffer at times, but he also reminds us that God will never abandon them. He will be there to lift them up and restore them.
Batman: And that's why we must have faith in God and trust in his plans for us.
Joker: Ha! You can have faith all you want, but I'm not buying it!
Catwoman: Oh, Joker! Don't be so cynical! We must all have faith that God will be there for us, no matter what. That's what this chapter is all about.
Batman: That's right, Catwoman. We must trust in God and never give up hope.
Robin: Amen to that, Batman!
