Peter: Hey, Lois. I've been reading the Bible and I just got to the book of Leviticus.

Lois: What happened?

Peter: Well, there was this story about a couple of priests, Aaron and his sons Nadab and Abihu, and they decided to offer up a strange fire that God had not commanded them to offer.

Lois: What happened to them?

Peter: God was not pleased and He struck them down with fire and they died. Then God said to Aaron, "Do not drink wine or other fermented drink when you go into the Tent of Meeting, or you will die...you and your descendants will be held responsible for your sin."

Lois: Wow, that's harsh.

Peter: Yeah, and then God told Aaron and his sons not to mourn the death of Nadab and Abihu, and He told them not to leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, or else they would die.

Lois: Ugh, that's so unfair.

Peter: Yeah, and then God told Aaron and his sons to distinguish between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean, and to teach the people of Israel all the decrees that the Lord has given them through Moses.

Lois: Sounds like a lot of work.

Peter: Yeah, but it was important, so that the people would know how to live in a holy and righteous manner. And that's Leviticus 10 in a nutshell!

Lois: Wow, that's a lot to take in. I guess you could say it's "Holy-Listic"!

Peter: Oh, ha ha ha. Yeah, I guess you could.
