Peter: Alright, so Leviticus 18. Here we go. So, this chapter basically starts off with God telling the Israelites that they need to follow his laws and not do any of the disgusting practices that the Egyptians and Canaanites were doing.

Lois: Ugh, like what kind of disgusting practices?

Peter: Oh, you know, like having sex with relatives and that kind of stuff. Like, no incest, no adultery, no bestiality. You know, all the stuff you see on Game of Thrones.

Brian: Wait, you watch Game of Thrones?

Peter: Hell yeah, I watch Game of Thrones! What else am I gonna do?

Brian: I don't know, maybe read the Bible?

Peter: Nah, that's boring. Anyway, so this chapter also says that the Israelites should not have sex with women during their period, should not have sex with their neighbor's wife, and should not offer their children as sacrifices.

Lois: Wow, that's pretty explicit.

Peter: Yeah, and then it goes on to list all the forbidden sexual relationships, like a divorced woman, a woman and her father's wife, and so on. And it says that anyone who does any of these things will be "cut off from the people".

Brian: Wow, that's pretty harsh.

Peter: Yeah, but you gotta remember that this was written thousands of years ago, so it's kind of like a different world.

Lois: Yeah, I guess you're right.
