Leviticus 10 is all about proper sacrifices to the Lord. A couple of Aaron's sons, Nadab and Abihu, decided to make an offering to the Lord that wasn't approved, and he was not happy about it. He sent down a fire from heaven and burned them to a crisp - so lesson learned, keep your sacrifices in line with what the Lord expects. Oh, and don't get drunk when you're offering sacrifices either. In the words of the Lord, "Do not drink wine or strong drink, you or your sons with you, when you enter the tent of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations." So yeah, no booze when you're sacrificing.
