Well, folks, it looks like God is not pleased with the Israelites in Leviticus 22. He starts by warning the priests not to make themselves unclean by touching the dead bodies of any but their close relatives. Then, he tells them that anyone who is ceremonially impure can't eat any of the offerings made to him. And, as if that wasn't enough, God goes on to say that if an animal is sacrificed to him, it can't have any blemishes or defects. And if you don't follow these rules? Well, then you're in for some serious punishment. So, if you want to stay in God's good graces, you better pay close attention to the rules in Leviticus 22.
