Well, folks, Leviticus 4 takes us deep into the Old Testament, and boy is it a doozy. We've got animal sacrifices, anointing oil, and some more gruesome details. The chapter covers the sin offering for when a leader or a common person sins unintentionally. So it's a good reminder that if you do something wrong, you can't just get away with it. See, the sin offering has to involve the sacrifice of a female goat or a young cow. Then, the priest puts some of the blood on the horns of the altar, some on the altar, and then the rest... well, that's just burned up. Oh, and if you can't afford a goat or cow, you can always go with two doves or two pigeons. So y'know, the Bible has something for everyone.
