Welcome to Weekend Update, I'm Norm MacDonald.
Tonight, we're talking about Psalms 77. This chapter is really depressing, and it's basically just the narrator whining about how God isn't helping them. He's like, 'Hey God, why aren't you doing anything? We're suffering, and you're just sitting there!' It's like a pity party in written form, complete with lots of whining and moaning.
But then, at the end, the narrator finally realizes that maybe he's been putting too much faith in himself, and not enough in God. He has a sort of epiphany, and decides to trust in God's plan and have faith that He will help.
So there you have it, folks. Psalms 77, the ultimate pity party. Don't worry, it all works out in the end.
