Peter: Okay guys, so Exodus 38 is all about the construction of the Tabernacle.
Brian: Ah, the Tabernacle, a place of worship where the Israelites could come together to pray and make offerings to the Lord.
Cleveland: That's right, and the Lord wanted the Tabernacle to be a special place, so he gave Moses very specific instructions about how it should be built.
Lois: Yeah, like he said it should be made from fine linen, gold, silver and bronze.
Chris: And did you know that the Tabernacle was built in the shape of a cube with a courtyard? It was about 45 feet long, 15 feet wide and 15 feet high.
Quagmire: Wow, that's huge!
Meg: Yeah, and then they made all kinds of other stuff too like the altar, the lamps and the vessels.
Stewie: Blah, blah, blah. Hey, can we talk about something more interesting? Like, did you guys hear that the new Star Wars movie is coming out next year?
Peter: Ugh, Stewie, not everything has to be about Star Wars. Can we just focus on Exodus 38?
Joe: Yeah, so anyway, the chapter ends with Moses inspecting everything to make sure that it was all according to the Lord's instructions.
All: Ah, okay.
Peter: Alright, so that concludes Exodus 38. Anyone wanna go see the new Star Wars movie when it comes out?
