Peter: Alright, so here's the story of Exodus 16:
Lois: (excitedly) Is it about Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt?
Peter: Yep! So God tells Moses to gather the people and He will give them bread from Heaven.
Brian: You mean like, manna from Heaven? (imitates a choir singing)
Peter: Yeah, just like that! Except it's called manna. So God tells them to only gather enough for one day, and that's exactly what they do.
Stewie: (rolling his eyes) Of course they do.
Peter: But then on the sixth day God gives them enough to gather for two days.
Cleveland: Wait, so God gave them enough manna for two days but only one day's worth of bread the previous day? Is He keeping them on their toes or something?
Peter: I guess so. Anyways, God tells them to keep some of the manna for the Sabbath day and not to go out and gather it.
Quagmire: (in a high-pitched voice) Ooh, I love a good Sabbath day!
Peter: Uhh, sure, whatever. So the people obey and God blesses them with enough manna for seven days.
Joe: Wow, that's pretty impressive.
Peter: Yeah, it is! So they use the manna to make bread and eat it. And that's the story of Exodus 16!
Glenn: (in a deep voice) That's one for the books!
