Peter: Alright, let's see what Acts 24 has in store for us.

Lois: Oh boy! I'm so excited!

Brian: You do know that this is a book of the Bible, right?

Lois: Yeah, yeah, I know. But I'm still excited!

Peter: Well, if you're so excited, why don't you summarize it?

Lois: Alright, here goes! In Acts 24, Paul is brought before the Roman governor Felix. Paul speaks to Felix about his faith in Jesus, and Felix is intrigued. He adjourns the hearing, leaving Paul in prison but allowing him some freedom. He also sends for Paul whenever he is in need of advice.

Brian: Wow, that's pretty heavy stuff. Hey, it reminds me of that one episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where Will is locked up in jail.

Lois: Shut up, Brian. Anyway, Paul is kept in prison for two years, and during that time Felix is replaced by Porcius Festus. Paul appeals to the Emperor, and Festus agrees to send Paul to Rome to stand trial. The end!

Peter: Wow, that was a great summary! You know I bet this could be like a modern day version of The Ten Commandments.

Brian: I'm pretty sure those are two completely different things.

Lois: Guys, can we just focus on the Bible summary?
